Howdy! My name is Jim Johnston. I have been using Ubuntu for a couple of years now and have been enjoying it quite a bit. I have been looking for a way to break away from Google for my phone, and recently discovered Ubuntu touch. I have a OP6T and a Nexus 5 that I am trying to get configured for a daily driver. Right now, I am mainly getting used to the ins and outs of UT, and looking at the differences between the RC and stable versions. I really like the concept of Convergence. It seems to work well wired on my Nexus 5 but I am not able to get the wireless display to work on the OP6T. I look forward to playing around with this and helping out with any testing that I can. Thank you, all, in advance.

RE: Waydroid for Oneplus 6t?
@mihael I was able to get Waydroid working to a certain extent on my 6T using the 16.04 stable build. The on-screen keyboard would not come up any more after I attempted the WayDroid OTA update. I ended up bricking my phone while trying to fix that, so I recovered and installed the 20.04 RC. That seems to have other issues where I cannot install Waydroid via the apt command as it keeps telling me "No space left on drive". I am going to go back to the stable build and try again. In the mean time, I am going to see if I can get into the telegram group.
