@Marathon2422 hi. you don't need twrp to apply the fix. You can do everything from the terminal with these three commands: sudo -i, mv, chmod 755. ( need to have the write permission with ut tweek tool)
Maybe there is a way using adb ..but i don't know how.

RE: Can BQ M10 be connected to an external display?
Hi, i want to try to explain what is happening here. This is my case:
after canonical dropped the project, no more bq phones were going to be sold, so i bought two M10 HD tablets with android oreo 8 preinstalled (this is not the ubuntu version).
Going through the installation process, probably MTKtool or my fault must have corrupted my NVRAM partition and this could be the cause of many problems i don't see reported from other M10's users.1- WIFI's MAC gone: you must re-enter the wifi password every time you turn it on. ( made a workaround, but still can't write back my original mac)
2- HDMI cable connection not working. (i don't know how to debug this)
3- When i power on my tablet it always boot twice
4- When i connect some headphones the screen stays frozen for about 3 min. Only things i can do is volume and screen on/off.
So i think for people having this kind of problems could be better to try to find a way to recreate the original NVRAM. So far i would like to help. We need to know how many we are.
