RE: Can BQ M10 be connected to an external display?
Hi, i want to try to explain what is happening here. This is my case:
after canonical dropped the project, no more bq phones were going to be sold, so i bought two M10 HD tablets with android oreo 8 preinstalled (this is not the ubuntu version).
Going through the installation process, probably MTKtool or my fault must have corrupted my NVRAM partition and this could be the cause of many problems i don't see reported from other M10's users.1- WIFI's MAC gone: you must re-enter the wifi password every time you turn it on. ( made a workaround, but still can't write back my original mac)
2- HDMI cable connection not working. (i don't know how to debug this)
3- When i power on my tablet it always boot twice
4- When i connect some headphones the screen stays frozen for about 3 min. Only things i can do is volume and screen on/off.
So i think for people having this kind of problems could be better to try to find a way to recreate the original NVRAM. So far i would like to help. We need to know how many we are.

RE: Any news about m10hd "cooler" wifi-problem?
@1896er You need to put your tablet in rw mode with tweek-tool. From the tablet's terminal you need to become root with the command sudo -i . You move those files from the SD to their folder with the command mv. You change the files permissions with the command chmod 755 .

RE: Usual Ubuntu apps on UBtouch?
you said you have firefox installed .. are you running the old canonical version rather than ubports's?
you can format your sd directly from the phone with the app external drives..
on ubports version desktop app are on a dash you'll find swiping up from the bottom...

RE: Usual Ubuntu apps on UBtouch?
If you need to view documents there is an app called document-viewer.
otherwise you need to create a container with libertine (an app in system settings). it takes some time to download. after you can install libreoffice... but you will need a bt mouse and keyboard at least for a good experience.. -
RE: BQ M10 FHD can't view videos on youtube
well.. sometimes after the first installation some things can be buggy.. you need at least to reboot it.

RE: WiFi password loss after each and every reboot on MEIZU Pro 5
@Marathon2422 hi. you don't need twrp to apply the fix. You can do everything from the terminal with these three commands: sudo -i, mv, chmod 755. ( need to have the write permission with ut tweek tool)
Maybe there is a way using adb ..but i don't know how. -
RE: Lost IMEI and AT command

RE: Lost IMEI and AT command
i used the root terminal to write wifi files to nvram.. that worked to solve wifi always asking for password.
