@MrT10001 curiosity killing my cat, did you attempt the method you discovered on 24.04? I'm sure you did, I'm just asking because I kind of wanted to try the ota update using your method to get it to boot. The only reason I haven't is because I dont really want to rescue again and run the installer again and download all the apps again if it fails.

@MrT10001 I reran the installer three times. It didn't work. So the third time I used this guide. And it worked! You're awesome man! Thanks!

@MrT10001 I ran whatever update was available. Didn't say it was 24.04. It seems to have broken the installation. I'm back to the lenovo logo boot loop. Will I have to go back to factory or do you think I could run the installer again to redo the 20.04 installation?

@MrT10001 have you tried to install updates? Is that safe or does that update to 24.4.1?

@MrT10001 I did one more restore and flashed Ubuntu Touch 20.04 and it worked! Didn't have to do the long list of things here. Thanks for your help! I guess sometimes it just works.

@MrT10001 do you have any tips? I'm planning to run fastboot continue on it to get it to force boot to see if that works. I've seen some people say it can take several attempts.

@libremax 3GB ram. I did 20.04 the most recent time. I did read that 24.04 wasn't booting and I did try to install that twice until I found that out. But 20.04 is the devel release and I didn't think that would work terribly well either and it didn't the last time. 16.04 shows as the last stable version so should I go all the way back to that?

So I have tried this a few times now and the UBPorts Installer always seems to install fine, but it goes to a boot loop with the Lenovo logo. It will stay like this forever if I let it. I've let it go for a day, 2 days. The installer doesn't give me an error, I've left it to charge and not touched it, I'm kind of at a loss now and thinking I either have to get a Pinetab or give up on this. Can anyone help me?
