Otg and charging at the same time
Hi,
I've been doing some research on using an OTG USB-c cable/hub/y-splitter for data
ADVERTISEMENTand simultaneous charging capabilities for the 5t. After sifting through forums and Google, the issue is the 5t can't use OTG data transfer and charge itself at the same time; it can only do one or the other (confirmed with my own experiences). I read that the cause might be because of the stock kernel not allowing for this. Would anyone know of a custom kernel for the 5t that allows OTG Host mode and charging simultaneously?
My use case would be to use my 5t to hook up a USB DAC over OTG cable/hub/y-splitter and then use the other USB port to connect to a wall charger to keep my phone charged while using the DAC. It could also be used for other devices that connect over OTG without draining your phone battery for extended use.
- Thanks

RE: Installer configs: Beta test
@phoenixlandpirat Yes, I got the same error, and if you have 5t device .you may try Ubuntu but I have to say you will be failed by running installer. The image url was not correct ‘cause the building process was failed these days. You can download them manually and rewrite url in dumpling for recover.img
