The main problem is malfunction of desktop apps in the new libertine container. Any option is opened in a new window. Impossible to work with gimp or libreoffice, essentials for me. Firefox crashes as soon as it starts. I trust you will be able to repair these issues, but I just want a way to return to the OTA-3 version because the UBports Installer only installs OTA-5. The capability to run desktop apps is what makes this OS soo cool and unique, and would be a mistake loose it.

I flashed 16.04 OTA5 Stable into one of my BQ E4.5 a few days ago. While I do not have any reason to return to OTA3, I support the idea to be able to keep any version locally on the system where the updater runs and flash any of these versions into the device.

@lakotaubp you can remove anything in cache, that's by definition, although the other day I read that Dekko2 is putting some things there that don't belong to that place actually. I don't use it, so I don't know.
Said that (be careful about Dekko2's) you can remove the whole cache directory, and reboot the device. The system and apps will recreate anything that they need.
