Cute Spotify not working

Cute Spotify not working on latest OTA5 release, when you try to download, you get the message: this app is not compatible with your system. Any ideas?

@frasse Mike Sheldon told us in the OpenStore group some time ago that he's pretty busy, so CuteSpotify is not getting any love.
As that app is abandoned in fact, maybe another developer might want to fork that project (https://github.com/Elleo/cutespotify/issues). We'll see.

I will try to get it running on desktop Linux this week, and if successful go from there. I'm also interested in using my phone to control Spotify on my Yamaha soundbar. Not sure if CuteSpotify has the ability already, but it's in the public Spotify APIs so it shouldn't be too hard.

Not sure if that's an option for you, but running the original Spotify android app in anbox works pretty well.

If the Spotify still cannot work after restarting the Spotify application again. You can try to convert the songs from Spotify by a converter called DumpMedia Spotify Music Converter. You get the songs on your own device and then it's time to import the songs to other devices that you want to use Spotify songs on it.
