      Hi,
I am new to ubuntu touch and just installed it on a nexus 7 lte which worked very well.
I am just wondering whether it is "by design" that there are no virtual buttons like "home", "back", "app switch" at the bottom of the device?
      kindest regards,
      phil

@phil83 Very quick answer is yes it is. One of the main features is that most things can be done by swipping from the edges of the device. If your on stable the orange Ubuntu logo acts as home type button when pressed.

It'll take time to get used to the navigation in UT but trust me once you get the feel of it, you'll not want the android buttons anymore except maybe the back button πŸ™‚
Once you go back to Android, you'll look for the edge gestures πŸ˜„

Yes, itΒ΄s absolutly worth it, to learn the UT gestures - makes working the Nexus like a charm!
I really like, how it "handles" πŸ˜‰
