Arm64 apps and testing
-
@Luksus Tried the version on QA Telegram group yesterday. It would not install. Will try this later.
-
@Lakotaubp Thanks, please tell me what the log is telling in case of an error.
-
@Luksus Installed OK will test later on. Thanks for your work.
-
@Lakotaubp Thanks, I wonder what the difference is between this build and the one in the QA chat...
-
@Luksus This weekend I'll try to compile few apps for the PinePhone.
I'll keep you updated if I find something interesting or if I hit some roadblocks. -
@Luksus The one on Telegram still doesn't work for me just tried it again, the one here is fine. The telegram file for install shows as 5321019581261678036.bin
-
@Lakotaubp Any news/update with uAdblock?
-
@Lakotaubp perhaps the matrix-telegram bridge or my own matrix server is the culprit.
-
@Luksus Maybe worth checking back with QA see if anyone else had the issue.
-
@Stefano Nothing yet I'm afraid, still using version 2.1.2
-
@Lakotaubp Let us know if a new version (working one) would be avail for testing. Thanks.
-
@Luksus
The click you posted here was successfully installed on the PinePhone.
The app launches but that's quite all...When recording nothing seems to happen except the timer starting ; I tweaked the settings with amixer but still no luck.
A file is created but I cannot play it nor can I see it in the records.
However, the files can be seen with the File Manager ; I exported them to my laptop but no sound recorded. -
@AppLee hmmm, perhaps you could open an issue on github? There we can try to solve it.
You could check the logs and perhaps tell me, what codecs you have in your list in advanced settings. Thanks. -
@Luksus Just tried one recording of 11 secs and that worked ok, Ha left it running and it just recorded 2 mins of radio broadcast so all seems fine. The text box for allowing access for the recorder was missing letters and messy. All this is on the OP3.

Cool new Onion Browser
I was able to
clickable --arch arm64
by removing this from the clickable.json:"dependencies_host": [ "tor:armhf" ],
-
Onion browser now in the OpenStore : )
-
@joe
Thank you so much for this. I've downloaded it and am now going to use it as default.@UniSuperBox
Please would you promote this app on the next Q&A - Tor is something that a lot of us have been asking for for a long time, and something that sits well with our ethos of Privacy. -

Is this what I've become? An advertising firm?

Not for me.
Will be very useful occasionally when the browser is more advanced. And we don't do anything with TOR and go anywhere. See also https://telegra.ph/TOR-Anonymity-Things-Not-To-Do-While-Using-TOR-01-25
I have full confidence in morph-browser, sometimes used with a vpn if I find it useful.
One can also, just for security reasons, wish to be seen to a certain extent, instead of being totally invisible !
