Libertine is still very experimental and the desktop apps are mostly not build for touch or small screens. You need Keyboard and Mous.

i'm sorry for my ignorance the only reason i'm not using the web apps
in the open store is because , not the official maker of the app is the one releasing them so how can i trust them .
but again i don't have any cypersecurity or programming skills, i'm just an average joe.

@stan Teleports is not a web app it is our Telegram client and very safe to use. The apps in the OpenStore are safe to use and are mostly contained with no access to the rest of the system. A few do to work but we know and trust the developers.

@stan Not a problem we all need to start somewhere and with different levels of knowledge and learn. We are a helpful bunch so don't be afraid to ask.

                Welcome here @stan!
As @Lakotaubp already indicated you can normally trust apps coming from openstore. Almost all of them are open source, so you could look at their code to check what they are doing and how. You can trust teleports especially, as its a core app (meaning its also published by ubports, so if you trust the os you trust teleports too ;-)).

In the OpenStore app, in the search box under the discover tab, type author: followed by the name of the author you're looking for e.g. author:Dan Chapman

@stan Marius brought it to the openstore originally, but Malte took over the maintenance. uAdblock is another interesting type off app. For some reason (i think it needs to write a file outside its "sandbox") its unconfined, means its basically allowed to do everything. These kind of apps must not be closed source and are reviewed by Brian Douglass ("UBports App Lead Maintainer") before they go into the open store.
Another way to search for apps by a specific author is to find at least one app published by the author in the openstore app and then press the "More by XY" list item.
