        Hello,
Since few days I'm using UT and so far is very stable, kudos team!
Except for some battery drain, no bigger issues, but seems that GPS is not turning on, even if it shows it's on on top bar and in settings.
When I turn it on in uNav, it gets "waiting for GPS" and nothing. Also, same happen in Uber web app and the other Navi app (forgot the name).

Before posting I've checked forum, but seems nobody have issues with GPS on xperia.
I'm not sure if issue affects only me or sombody else have it same.

        Thanks again for good work.

@ilija_zmaj How long did you test it for, and where did you test it? It may take as much as 30 minutes to get the first fix, and it needs to be done outside. By a window is often not good enough.

It would be worth installing Sensor Status to check that a GPS signal is being received.

As said @cliffcoggin you must be on wide opened ground in order to get first gps fix after a cold boot, because device need 3 or 4 satelites links in sight.

@ilija_zmaj AS @cliffcoggin said use Sensor Status and on GPS it should say something like

              Found supported backend (ticked)
              Active (ticked)

              Source Status No error
              Name Ubuntu
              Method Satalite

The rest will fill in when a fix is found

Oh, thanks all for the quick responses. I deffinitely didn't let it 30 min to catch satelites, that is for sure.
Sensor status gives active, backend too and no error,so... 30 min in open field it is!

Usually it's faster though, but be prepared for the worst if you want to be sure it works or not 😉

@ilija_zmaj That good to know. Next time it should be faster, though it will never be reliable indoors.
