Mine also came with Android 10 although the box says 9. I got it around April.

Manufacturing date of my device is 2020-10-23.
          I bought it as "used".

I use Linux btw., perhaps that makes a difference for spflashtool...

          Devices: BQ e4.5, Fairphone 2, Fairphone 3, Lenovo X605F, Pinephone, Moto Z2 Force, OnePlus5T

Did your tablet's LED turned orange or green after charging it all night ?

A guy from Lenovo's Support says we need to leave it on charger until LED turns orange or green. Then the tool will work.

I've had it charging for 2 hours now and it's still red.

                  Hi
Sorry, if you have already tried the following, but try a forced restart:

Press and hold the power button for 12 seconds = warm start
                  or else
Press and hold the power button for 8 sec = power off

It says so in the manual, I don't have a device.

I also use Linux flashing mine, Ubuntu to be exact. I used Windows for the rescue tool. Have you tried using a different combination of cable, USB port, PC, etc?

Do any of you have opening tools for phone repair ? I wanna try disconnecting battery and connecting it back but don't have the toolkit for it.

How about you guys ? I might have to get it from Amazon.

It's quite clear to me that mindlessly pressing the buttons won't
                      do it.
                      Let me know.

@FP2andFP3-User I have the same device and the firmware downgrade also bricked my device.
This guide and tool did help me to fix the problem: https://www.xda-developers.com/bypass-mediatek-sp-flash-tool-authentication-requirement

THIS TIME though! Before that tablet I also had another MediaTek device I tried to unbrick... but I made the mistake of unplugging it before that tool finished.... after that... the device was totally and forever borked.... not even the correct drivers showed up in device manager.... and Ubuntu was not able to detect the device at all... the device completely malfunctioned.

The tool will basically start the device in OEM mode ... and let's you bypass everything... so you can literally destroy everything with it. It will disable protection... and while the device is still connected, run the SP Flash Tool (I used the one provided by the Lenovo Rescue tool) and flash the correct firmware...

                          One last warning here:
This tool is able to make the device never recoverable! Use at own risk!

@jiho thanks for your support.. I give it away....so I Cannot test it and have no problems any More With this device...for me this is game over šŸ™‚

What was important for my device, that I also choose the right "Download-Agent" (MTK_AllInOne_blalba.bin) from the image folder, which I wanted to flash.

Great... I thought I already know everything about flashing mtk devices...But this actually solved the error about not being able to connect ("ERROR : STATUS_BROM_CMD_SEND_DA_FAIL).

was having latest android 10 software installed and used linux sp flashtool 5.20.44. I did not try to downgrade to android 9 though.

@luksus Hello bro, I have trouble downgrading my tablet. It is TB-X616M, which is similar to TB-X606X. I 'Erase all' it by accident and I need a rom of TB-X606F_USR_S100168_200828_BMP, but I cannot get it. Can you send me one on mega or other drive? Thanq very much.

@luksus I have tried, but this list of build is not working. I flashed the earliest build of TB-X606F, but my tablet still loops on the Lenovo screen and red light. I wondered what had the 'Erase All' done, and whether it brick my tablet forever. Another possible thinking is my tablet is a Chinese-version one, so the rom is all wrong to me.

@luksus There is people in Chinese successfully flashed the ROM, just checked.
I have lost interest in it. However, I hope that untick the Preloader part will work.
