Is there continuing development on NEXUS 5X Bullhead? Might be a good idea to not allow manual selection of phone on UBports if it's going to brick a phone. This is a good phone and many are available at a reasonable cost. Would like to run Ubuntu as I run it on laptop and desktop as well as servers.

- If I don't remember it wrong, it is very hard to port the N5X. There have been couple of tries, that has all failed.
- Sometimes the installer doesn't recognize the phone and selecting it manually has solved the problem in most cases.
- Try Mobian or Postmarket Os on a supported device.

@wizardi3 I installed Kalios on them for penetration testing of WiFi networks. I hacked mine pretty quickly so made it more secure. You can also install /e/OS on them which is a de-Googled privacy orientated ROM.

@cliffcoggin I think they took it off the list when they reached stable version 1.0...

@cliffcoggin Check here for the nexus 5X.
This is for the Nexus 5.
It's an "unofficial" support on their official website.

@mrt10001 Thanks. E/OS is my back up plan for when UT no longer works on the Nexus 5.
