Eta on focal?

I know everyone hates asking for ETA's but I need to get things in order for longer term development xenial is just to out of date as well as the differences in app creation I got two apps I'm deving but I'm kinda in limbo for a few reasons this being one of them I'm still on xenial Dev channel

I expect that only the porter knows whether they're planning to move that device to Focal. You could try asking @nitanmarcel directly.

The project is now dead. So someone would have to step in.
Looking at the sources there has been some work done for Focal already: https://gitlab.com/ubports/porting/community-ports/android10/xiaomi-redmi-note-9-pro
I think @nitanmarcel has even been able to run Focal when testing a few months ago, but unfortunately that's where it ends for now. -
iv cloned the gitlab repo if i can figure out/learn how to edit and build this i may take over idk yet because im feeling mildly intimidated by this but if i can pull it off on ubuntu on a orange pi 5 its on like donkey kong ....also iv never used gitlab before so im guessing its pretty much like github
