        I'm running Focal (UT 20.04 (OTA 3)) on a Volla Phone X.
Neither Morph nor Sapot (which seem to be the only browser options right now) do play any online video or stream on my device.

On my Volla Phone which still runs Xenial (UT 16.04 (OTA 25)) Morph does play online videos and streams.

What's wrong on my Volla X?

        Thanks!

@jojumaxx I see the same problem on my Volla Phone X since upgrading to focal a few months ago. Some videos work OK, such as You Tube, but others just give the scrolly blue circle, such as BBC I-player or BBC News. I just hope one of the devs will sort it when they have the time.😉

For those who haven't done it, have the courage to do a clean installation with the installer (with wipe data) now that OTA-3 is here, this should resolve many bugs. Switching from xenial to focal through system settings is just a trial solution in my opinion.

@messayisto This is just my opinion and everyone does what they want, but yes, in my opinion, it is better to start with a completely clean base, whatever the smartphone model and whatever the specific focal bugs (which I don't know about) that each model can meet. Personally, I did this with my Volla with OTA-3 without hesitation because I didn't want to wonder if potential remains of xenial would have a bad influence on focal. I don't regret it at all even if I had to reinstall everything.

@domubpkm I did a clean install of Focal some months ago following the advice being given at the time. In general most things worked better than on Xenial but battery life was reduced and videos refused to play on some websites.

I thought that things would improve as more OTAs became available. With OTA-3 battery life seems better (but on Xenial OTA-25 I could go 3 days between charging. After switching to Focal at first I could not get through a whole day without having to re-charge, but with OTA-3 I can) and I am still waiting for an improvement on the video front.... but I am still hopefull ☺🤓☺

@Ian Somewhat agree that battery life is lower under focal (when cellular data is enabled). This is also gradually improved under xenial.

@domubpkm m, maybe I will give it a try. By the way: while adb isnt yet running on newer haluim ports is there a doable way of backing up the phone befor giving it a clean install?

@messayisto I always proceed manually by pasting the saved directories/files onto my micro-SD card.
