Update to 24.0.1 and now won't boot.
-
I used the official update to 24.0.1 on my oneplus 6t, it booted to recovery, I did a reboot and it is stuck on the warning screen.
Is there a way to fix this ??
Thank you. -
@FrostDaemon It might boot up correctly if you power off then try again. Same happened on the OP N100. Took two tries to get it to boot

Same here, stuck on boot warning screen.
Is there a way to at least recover the data before I go messing around with it? -
@rocket2nfinity I tried rebooting a few times already. Thanks for the suggestion though.
-
@FrostDaemon Same here, so it obviously isn't working yet for this device. Use the installer to reinstall Focal 20.04 leaving the wipe data box unticked.
-
Same happened to me!
-
..and when I reinstalled from the installer, it still did not work!
-
Yes!! Downgraded as you suggested all my data is here, the phone works. Great job on the installer btw. That thing works like a charm. And now to backing up my data...

Same on OP N10 on each rebooting.
Vol up + vol down + power for a few seconds and then try to switch it on again. Usually it helps, sometimes it takes two or three tries. -
Played a little bit with it and now I cannot select "recovery" in fastboot. It just boots the system. Any Thoughts on that?

I discovered that the Ubuntu 24.01 update unfortunately does not install correctly due to storage problems (on some partitions of the OP 6T) and therefore important data is missing, which is why it does not start.

@op6t_ut_user did you wait up to 20 minutes while rebooting? like it was told on blog post to 24.04 update?
my op n10 5 g took about 7 minutes.

Yes, I too have already made several attempts to install it, but unfortunately I've never been able to get it to work.

On attempting to downgrade (installer V0.11.2, binary install from AUR) , booted to fastboot mode then:

@James-T It worked for me, but I used Win11 executable. Try changing the USB port, then the USB cable if that fails.
For others, the OP6 and 6T is being worked on so Noble will work.
