so, I got myself here a nexus 6p that was running lineageOS 17.1 with some twrp modules, I did wipe it full and flashed stock thru the fastboot commands then i tried using the UBports installer and it only installs the recovery and no OS what to do? I'm new to this never installed UBT before or any full Linux on phone just roms and stuff with twrp
any help is appreciated thanks in advancee

Please install TWRP recovery and format all partitions due to the encryption applied by the stock ROM!Though I have to ask what value you intend to derive from this exercise. The 6P runs Xenial, there has not been any interest to update it to focal, let alone noble. By now the OS is nearly unusable.
