        so, I got myself here a nexus 6p that was running lineageOS 17.1 with some twrp modules, I did wipe it full and flashed stock thru the fastboot commands then i tried using the UBports installer and it only installs the recovery and no OS what to do? I'm new to this never installed UBT before or any full Linux on phone just roms and stuff with twrp

        any help is appreciated thanks in advancee

          @fihex123 From the devices page:

          How to install Ubuntu Touch OS

          You can install Ubuntu Touch on this device using the UBports Installer on your computer.

          Make sure the bootloader of your device is unlocked and that your device has the required version of Android installed. Before installing, follow the device-specific instructions below:

          Please confirm that your device is a Huawei Nexus 6P (angler). The LG Nexus 6 (shamu) is not compatible!
          Please reset your device to stock Android 7.1.2 - Critical vendor files are otherwise missing!
          Please install TWRP recovery and format all partitions due to the encryption applied by the stock ROM!

          Though I have to ask what value you intend to derive from this exercise. The 6P runs Xenial, there has not been any interest to update it to focal, let alone noble. By now the OS is nearly unusable.

            @fihex123 Maybe your device is not supported, Have a look here for all supported devices:

                    @fihex123 Please follow the steps for the installation as descripted by arubislander.
                    You could also take a look at this step by step description: https://forums.ubports.com/post/43884
                    If you have no success, try a different USB cable and a different USB port. If you are using the Windows Installer, you could also check if it works better under Linux.
                    Sometimes the installation does not work the first time.
