@hacknorris As UT is community driven, there are people stepping up and creating new browsers, but they do it in their own time without pay. If I had the skills to step up I would, but I don't, so cannot. There are things in the pipeline, but take time and testing to work across a range of devices, but hopefully will come. On another note apt is not used on UT as the file system is read only so can break the system. It can be used, but it is the realms of "testing and breaking".

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.... And more...
        I have too many devices...

@hacknorris try https://open-store.io/app/merezhyvo.naz.r . @naz.r puts a lots of efforts proposing a full working browser.

Yes but for UT 24.04: "NOTE: Merezhyvo is built for Ubuntu Touch 24.04 . Ubuntu Touch 20.04 is not supported and has not been tested."

For 20.04 though, testing and return could be useful.

honestly saying I don't know whether it works on 20.04 or not.
I haven't tested it since I have only one UT device which runs on 24.04

Sadly there won't be anything in the future for focal. In Noble, there are many alternatives now and also there's a beta version of Morph with a much newer chromium version.

I don't see why any developer would now invest their time on 20.04 which is outdated unless possibly, at their discretion, it involves a few minimal adjustments.

I'll send it to you in PM

ok, so the test showed it is at least possible to install Merezhyvo on 20.04.
The open question is how well it works there.
I hope hacknorris will share it later after some time of testing
