@peat_psuwit
Not yet returned to 24.04-2.x but without any change of usage, this is a bit more meaningful.

This applies for my Miatoll device (Redmi Note 9 Pro):
- Sometimes it takes minutes (sometimes up to 10min) for the mobile to re-connect the mobile data again after a phone call. [New
after migration to 24.04] - The keyboard sometimes still crashes when typing quickly. [New
after migration to 24.04] - Ringing sound gets "almost muted" (not hearable when receiving a call) after some time (usually around a week and several received calls) [This
was always there] - Camera app basically never initiates correctly on first time use after reboot [This
was always there] - Audio apps (all of them, i.e. sound Recording app) stop working/start freezing after the first phone call (sound subsystem config is messed-up?) [This
was always there]

I am still in RC and the discharge issue has disappeared, for the moment.

@peat_psuwit
I just noticed some strange behaviour on my phone, which is still on RC, that I had never seen before.
At 11:57 a.m., my phone rang, indicating that the call was from my wife, with her personalised ringtone.
My wife's phone was sitting on the kitchen table. She did not call.
Her contact appears in the list of missed calls.
In my received text messages, I have a message saying that the number xxxxxxx called me without leaving a message. It was not my wife's number (nor was it in my contact list, for that matter).
Perhaps it was an accidental glitch...
Exphone app installed. This app has recognized my wife's contact too. -
@Vlad-Nirky Spoofing ?

Hello
I don't think so. I did a quick test - calling from 2 different numbers, one with personalised ringtones and the other not registered in the contacts, heard only the same ringtone for both calls, so I can repro. I did not mention it myself as a regression because I did not even know that it was possible to play a personalised ringtone
so I can't vouch that it worked correctly before. -
@gpatel-fr
It was not only the ringtone, the contact shown in the phone call history is my wife's contact too...
Never saw this.
Same in exPhone history.
It was the last call received previously (yesterday evening) -
@domubpkm
Is it possible (to hide an unknown number and display my first favorite) ? -
@Vlad-Nirky the same probleme was report :
https://forums.ubports.com/topic/11938/anyone-else-is-having-wrong-caller-id-when-receiving-a-cal/6
no solutions actualy, but a Git issue is open.

This I can't repro, I get the 'unknown' (from the contact list) calling number in the call list.

I have a Bluetooth problem on this RC. It does not see most of my Pebbles and can't connect to them. I'm now back on Stable and my Pebble Time connects just fine.
-
Update 12 February 2026: we've published Ubuntu Touch 24.04-1.2 RC 2 which contain a fix for audio issue on Sony Xperia X.

This is weird, as there are no changes related to Bluetooth merged in this release. Could you please collect logs using the following command over ADB or SSH, then pull the file over USB?
sudo journalctl --boot --grep 'blue' >Downloads/journalctl.log -

Oof. Maybe. I will try.

I just tried to repro it again and could not. I must have hallucinated yesterday

Hi @peat_psuwit,
about Sony Xperia X:
Well, I can confirm that the sound works through the speaker.

Bluetooth connects, but there is no sound in the headphones.

Now I also have VoLTE on the Xeria X, amazing.

Greetings

Turns out the answer is no. I found instructions, because I have no idea how this works, and I can't understand the instructions. Now I feel stupid. Let's forget it.

@Moem
There's always a first time for everything (and a last time, for that matter).
If you connect your phone to your PC through USB (for example, the one you used to install Ubuntu Touch) and open a terminal, you can run the command
adb shell
This will open a remote connection to your phone.
In this connection, you can run the command
sudo journalctl --boot --grep 'blue' >Downloads/journalctl.log
Than you can type exit to return to your local terminal and run
adb pull /home/phablet/Downloads/journalctl.log ~/journalctl.log
This will get the phone's file in your home folder. -
@Vlad-Nirky Okay, those were instructions I could follow... thank you.
Not sure this will help since I'm now back on Stable.
-
@Moem
Journalctl persists during a long time.
