Notes app, upgrade,freezing

@marathon2422 Have just installed it
1 had to restart open store
2 then could open notes app
3 pressed button to remove old version
4 installed new version
5 it wasn't showing in app list had to restart phone
6 app now there
7 opened account page said not available refreshed page could then sign into evernote account.
8 that went OK but no notes showing so re started app and notes appeared.This was on mx 4 all seems OK now. Going to try nexus 5 next.

@marathon2422 Just did nexus same thing down to login page. That came up straight away logged in that went OK. Things started to work then up came login page again. So thought there was an issue logged in again and all went OK. Up popped accounts page and I've got both log ins showing but all seems to be working and syncing OK.
So onto m10 later. No icon showing in open store though just the text on front page.
Just re checked open store and an update was avaiable. Updated and had to do the above again but now all appears OK. On nexus 5Edit
On mx4 updates avilable keeps coming back up so leaving that as is for now. Will check back later. -
@marathon2422 Have passed on issues.

Its similar here... I think its again the preinstalled version after reboot.
@NeoTheThird perhaps fixing the version number helps. The manifest wants to take the patch number from bzr... -

I will just expand my comments a little,
When I upgrade Notes (pre-installed app).
It freezes at the shortcut/icon.. nothing else happens.
Easy fix, remove upgrade.Games app, 8192
Touch green install bar, it flashes,then goes back to the green install bar.
Nothing else happens.
This is on
BQ m10 fhd 16.04 r90
Pro5 16.04 r89logviewer app,went in both devices,no problem

@marathon2422 Double check the openstores not saying theres an update available. If it is its not fixed will say something about not being from the openstore, haven't heard anymore that it is. Check out the links above in @advocatux post.

Working fine on OPO 15.04, but not on Pro 5 with 16.04. Brings up the account screen on the latter, but can't choose or input an account. Only local notes work.

@tomoqv Hi still not fixed as far as I can see still installs "old version" then update reappears in openstore and round we go.@NeoTheThird is working on the issues. Will post in this thread when fixed if someone else beats me to it.

@marathon2422 Have you restarted the openstore. The icon for the note app should now be visable, and when tapped show latest version 0.6.0 when updated

This is just a reminder (pun intended) that we should use the issues tracker too, and not only talk about an issue on this forum, or on Telegram groups or wherever.
For example the issues tracker for Notes is https://github.com/ubports/notes-app/issues
That's the only way to have a proper record.
