        @bunt7

Since I found this trick in one week I have used it about 10 times without problem, I'd be interested in more details on what you tried and what happened.

yes, the syntax you used asks to use 24.04-1.x and you are already using it, so it's rather logical that nothing happens.

What I said in my thread is that to downgrade you have to use a more specific syntax and I gave you this syntax in my previous post:

            sudo system-image-cli -b 2 -m 3

that is asking the upgrade system to use the build number 2 for the current version - if you are on 24.04-1.3 your current build number is 4 as reported by sudo system-image-cli --list-channels.

@gpatel-fr When I would upgrate to 1.3, will the problem come again? And if yes, in a long terme it would be practicel, to have the newest software.

Well, has the problem been solved by downgrading ? If yes, give some attention to what I posted before on creating an issue on GitLab to actually provide information to the port maintainer so maybe some investigation and hopefully correction could be done for a future 1.4 release.

@gpatel-fr Yes, like I wrote before, now it works.
Thanks for the info with Gitlab!

                      Hallo gpael-fr again,
I was to fast with "now it works with 24.04-1.2".
I can call people, but people can only sometimes call me and sometimes it won´t work.
For me it is a bit of an disaster, because I loose jobs with not being reachable

Did you try to disable VoLTE in the setings?

                        (Cellular > Operator > VoLTE)

It also happens to me from time to time that people get directly to my answering machine, and I don't get the call. Usually I don't consider that as a big problem for myself as I can always call back. But it's true that since switching to VoLTE calls reliability has decreased.

I think it would be very useful to open a bug report here:

since VoLTE is basically voice over data, could this have a relationship to the losses of data connectivity that you report also ?

Well yes maybe, but I also osberve that when restarting the modem the VoLTE connexion often does not re-establish properly while the Internet data connexion works fine after restarting the modem.

I have no "operator - cellular - volte", because it is in written in German. But maybe you mean 2G/3G/4G/5G"?When I switch to "only 2G" it don´t makes it better

No no, the first screenshot here:

                                  https://docs.ubports.com/fr/latest/userguide/dailyuse/volte.html

It is possible as well that your device is not compatible with VoLTE, if so check with your operator that it is still compatible with phones that do not have VoLTE enabled.

@pparent Volte was switched on, but to get calls was somtimes possible, sometimes not.

Do you recoment to switch of Volte and use 2G/3G?

Try to switch VoLTE off, and see if it works better for you or not! 😉

But you can still use 4G/5G with VoLTE off! 😉
