@UndeadLeech i've noticed that many apps show current version, but bazaar was on previous, bit i updated kumo via bazaar. So i've decided to reboot.

Does anyone know of a reliable way to get the formfactor of a device (i.e. check if the device is a handset) in an app?

@radmorecameron That makes sense! Sorry, the instance I'm using appears to be malfunctioning today, I haven't seen your second post with the browser example at the time and then when I saw it I deleted my first post to rephrase it, but it seems like the deletion hasn't been federated (yet?)

@mobian enabling new devices/peripherals feels exciting, but IMO improving reliability is even more important: it enables daily-driving LinuxOnMobile devices, that means more testing on the whole stack, bugs getting reported and addressed, hopefully leading to a point where more usecases can be satisfied avoiding e-waste to pile up...E.g. in some cases the op6t-fajita panel became unusably slow, but the driver rewritten and upstreamed by @okias fixes that... kudos!

@DenJohn Oh yeah that's pretty cool. the last time I looked at it, you needed a modem that can send arbitrary packets in monitor mode though I haven't seen anything mentioned in the README now.Still I'd prefer an implementation using open protocols. WIFI-Aware is a standard for this and on the newest Android / IOS devices it is already in use.Maybe I'll look into a Linux implementation. There don't seem to be any yet.

Yesterday I quickly "ported" the #Rockwork daemon to Qt6 in order to get it working with my newly arrived #Pebble Time 2 (Qt6 apparently has some Bluetooth LE upgrades that are needed (also it allows me to package it for pmOS)).
