I realize that yesterday it was exactly four years ago that I started the experiment to use the #Librem5 #Linux #phone as my daily phone.

@FrostDaemon I cannot answer this question for you. I live in the Netherlands. But here is a page of supported mobile providers for the #Librem5:https://source.puri.sm/Librem5/docs/community-wiki/-/wikis/Cellular-Providers

@ppulferI really like some parts of the phone and OS, but i dislike others. Pro: - good android support (best waydroid integration on the market)- Good hardware supportCon: - really old kernel- halium and not mainline- i basically have to install nix ot other package managers because of a very small repository

@pengaro yes, icons and text (the whole UI) basically are tailored to the non-XL variant screen resolution, they will look bigger on the XL since that's the scaling value it has been set to. But you can change it with the Ubuntu Touch Tweak Tool.

@michelbdec Please be more precise. Ubuntu Touch is NOT Ubuntu. Apps are using .click files. There's no Ubuntu software in Ubuntu Touch, but an open store: https://open-store.io/ in which you'll find "Dekko 2", which is currently the only email client available for Ubuntu Touch. (and works pretty well) Btw, you can install some other Linux software using a Libertine container, but they might not work as expected, especially since they aren't design for a smartphone screen.
