@mxniki I don't have a Fairphone2 to test it but maybe you're suffering the same bug as in N5 https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/376

          What worked for me:

I've switched from stable to devel (that recovered mobile data) and then switched to stable again, and it keeps the mobile data.`

@advocatux I tried to switch to switch to all available channels (stable, RC and devel), I had on none of them mobile data.

@mxniki is your Vodafone sim registered and verified?

Have you tried that sim in another phone? Have you tried a different sim in your F2?

@advocatux Yes it's registered and verified. I tried it before i installed Ubuntu Touch on my F2 and it worked.

@mxniki then maybe is better to file a bug report.

@mxniki If you've tried the developement channel trick as advised by advocatux try putting it into flight mode leave it for a couple of mins and then off again. If that doesn't do it put it back into flight mode switch phone off completely for a few mins and try again. This normally forces the data connection from the sim.

@mxniki Sorry I'm stumped then for now. Can only think of checking with your network provider that all is OK from their end and as suggested trying your sim in another phone to rule that out. If that all OK it sounds like bug report time, or trying a reflash of ubports first.

@stefano Thank you, that worked together with switching to another APN of Vodafone.
