Firefox snap working for you?
-
I can install the Firefox snap on 20.04 Development on my OnePlus5t.
However it doesn't open and run properly.
Before I go opening bug reports and issues in the wrong place I thought I would ask here, does it work for you or not?
If you could also let me know your device and what channel you are on that would be great!
-
@padraic No, oneplus5t on development channel.

This one is probably more suited to be used on phones: https://gitlab.com/debclick/uFirefox/-/pipelines/1255486984
Either way this is a standard desktop app which is not well integrated into the system and also doesn't work properly unfortunately. Hopefully something that will improve with Mir updates, once UT/Lomiri is ready for those. -
@zubozrout I'm not very familiar with Gitlab. Are there installable releases linked to from there, or do you have to clone and build to get a click?
-
This is a known issue that's sadly won't be easily solved. It's a technical thing that should be fixed with newer Mir which we are quite far away from getting on UT

-
@padraic Yes, builds are already in made by GitLab CI - on the link I shared. Download the archive for your architecture, extract, find a click package inside and install.
-
I've used this a little bit, it seems great to be honest.
@zubozrout did you package this?
-
@padraic Definitely not my work. Anyway, you can check GitLab to see who worked on this: https://gitlab.com/debclick/uFirefox
