    • Help resizing the root partitiion

      Hi,

when trying to install the new browser I ran into a problem with not having enough space in /var/cache/apt/archives

I thought this might have been because I did something foolish with my device (BQ M10 FHD - freiza) but I can see other people having the same problem.

Looking around the forum I can see that people recommend a couple of things:

      1. sudo apt autoremove or sudo apt-get clean
      2. Resizing the root partition

The solutions in 1. don't free up enough space.

For resizing I can see this script being mentioned - https://github.com/timsueberkrueb/plasma-phone-dev-setup/blob/master/usr/bin/resize-root-partition

Has anyone successfully used it? Is there an alternative?

Is there a recommended size to change to?

    • Favourite Libertine Apps

      Hi folks,

Just wondering what people typically install from Libertine, and how useful they find the applications.

I am especially interested in what works well on the M10 tablets outside Desktop mode.

I have used Transmission, mComix and AbiWord. Transmission works pretty well. mComix is fine for opening and reading if you start by tapping on the file - opening the app first and trying to open files from there is awkward - the menus are unusable and / or appear to be off screen. I found AbiWord to similarly be more or less not worth using.

Has anyone had a positive experience with these or other applications?

    • RE: Installing additional Android app's in Anbox on Ubuntu Touch

@tomoqv Thanks for that, it worked for me just this morning.

I installed fdroid which was exciting, unfortunately I can't seem to bring up the keyboard in any anbox app so far however.

With the variety of browsers now available (including from Android via Waydroid) is there any way to watch Netflix on a UBports device?

    • Going back to stock Android

Anyone know how to reinstall stock android on the Oneplus5t?

I know this isn't an Android / Oxygen support forum but if anyone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it!

Unfortunately I need to give the phone to a family member in the coming days. I'll get another device for Ubports myself soon.

I've used this a little bit, it seems great to be honest.

      @zubozrout did you package this?

@zubozrout I'm not very familiar with Gitlab. Are there installable releases linked to from there, or do you have to clone and build to get a click?
