Today i tried setting up emulationstation and retorarch on Fairphone 4 running UbuntuTouch 20.04 OTA-5

      Everything is setup inside libertine

      Working:

      • NES,SNES,GB,GBA and also N64 but laggy
      • USB Gamepad

      Not working:

      • audio as i am launching emulationstation and games in libertine fakeroot and pulseaudio is only available in userspace

some pictures for setup in action-

@uxes audio is not working when i use fakeroot and due to some reason emulator crash in normal user mode.
Normal user mode audio is fine

Perhaps they have a snap version? Or maybe they can be packaged as click and run on Wayland 😄
Not sure how much effort that would be though. Someone persevered and got Supertux to work again so maybe with enough will? 😄

@bearbobs You use the tool called clickable. I only rely on that and doesn't really know much about packaging and building stuffs so that's all help I can give 😄
Like I said, someone got Supertux working again so perhaps you can do too. I don't have the repo of it though.
