Ubuntu Touch Q&A177 call for questions
-
 @sap Probably hard to tell, because nobody tried it jet. But Lomiri is in the official Debian 13 package repos, so you should be able to install it with apt (but I have only tried it out on x86/amd64 machines jet).

 @Linuxlite76 Maybe I do not understand the question, but there is already a ubports forum app in the OpenStore and it works quite good for me:
 https://open-store.io/app/myutforum.josele13For reporting a bug for a specific app, you can look at what is linked under "Source Code" or "Get support for this app" at the app page in the OpenStore. It usually points you to a gitlab page, where you can report an issue to the developer.

 The system pushes the Noble upgrade to devices running on Focal, but don't seem to work with Noble. The specific example I am talking about is the Lenovo Tab TB-X605F/L 3Gb/32Gb version. The upgrade notification appears, upgrade and it just boots to recovery after installation. Running it through the installer results in the same thing. (Yes I know this tablet is a problem child). Would it be possible to stop this and/or remove the upgrade path for Noble from the installer? (Similar things mentioned with the OP Nord N100 and OP Nord N10 5G, installer is fine with them). Is the installer now working with Apple based Silicon Macs (M1 - M5) as Apple have just released the M5 version?

 Hello everyone! My device started to flicker after installing the App Screen Clock, then I changed the UT to the daily channel and now I have a broken device. It doesn't boot anymore. This is kind of an annoying issue that should not occur.
 I consider to flash UT on another device, but on devices page it states that "X This is an outdated Ubuntu Touch release" and the version is 20.04 OTA-10 since weeks. Is it safe to install UT now?
 Thank you for a good answer!

 Are there plans for a 20.04-OTA11 or have development efforts fully moved on to 24.04? I'm hoping for a volte fix on my FP4

 @UBportsNews
 Hello.
 Is there any chance that rsync will return in a future OTA update for my favourite OS?
 I did find a very old version via snap, but it's not great...
 Thank you all for the continuous development and quality of UT!
