@CiberSheep didn't gito flightmode before. Even made that restart.
-
oh.I just see, that I cannot reach open-store.io by morph neither, so it must be a problem with the site, not with the app.

@messayisto I'm experiencing some delays as well, but site is available.
-
@CiberSheep On my laptop it has indeed only a delay... but on morph it doesn't appear at all. And the app looks like this for minutes.

-
@CiberSheep Thanks for moving the topic btw!

Err, sorry if I assume wrongly about your general knowledge of Internet, but is there a common path between the 2 devices ? Usually a laptop will be connected through a cable or fiber modem, while a phone is connected by a cellular link. That's 2 very different network paths, usually the cabled one being a lot more reliable than a radio link (there are exceptions of course)
Unless your laptop and the phone are both using wifi from your Internet box, that's the only case where you can directly consider that there is a direct comparison between the 2 devices. If you don't use this setup, you could try it to get a better idea of the problem.
-
@gpatel-fr Whn I set both devices on wifi from my Internetbox, the issue was gone for one time, but the next time it was there again. So a little bit spooky and totally inconsistent and far beyond my skills.
-
It's not easy to try to debug an intermittent problem.
Can you ensure that you are indeed using the wifi network by visiting a site giving the ip address (my first research result gives me https://whatismyipaddress.com/)
Verify the internet speed (for example fast.com or speed.cloudflare.com) -
@gpatel-fr Thanks for your hints! Actually when I'm on my home wifi I have IPv6 adresses on both devices, and either website of open-store and the app are available. This is reproducible.
When the phone is connected via cellular link, its only IPv4, and the issue occurs again.
So my question is answered, thank you again. -
my phone has an IPv4 address and can access the store just fine - if the store was not compatible with IPv4 they would have heard of it as open-store.io does not even have an IPv6 address.
Maybe it's a problem with your phone provider, configuration of a CGN or network routing, the full path to the destination will usually not be controlled by them, these problems can't be checked locally. If you can't connect at all with a browser, maybe they'd be interested enough to investigate; use Firefox since Morph will not be known to them.
