        switched to n5 after n4 broke. In first two weeks already phone has twice woken battery critical despite plenty of juice when set to sleep. Last time was running browser, facebook basic, calculator, and twitter-web. Is there a known issue with these apps or hardware? Perhaps power logs to checkwith terminal or adb?

              I had also problems with my N5 battery. Biggest problem was battery usage when mobiledata on. With wifi battery lasts forever. Also when using phone, like browsing, it drained quite much battery and phone was also hot.

              My workarounds was;

              • changed modem firmware to 2.0.50.2.30. This helped mobiledata problem.
              • I changed CPU governor to conservative and changed also threshold values. Now phone stays quite cool with basic browsing and light usage.
              • I also made a script which disables push service if I have to save more battery for some reason.
