Hi everybody!
I'm Francisco Molinero (aka fmolinero). I lead the Ubuntu Spanish Translators team (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuSpanishTranslators)
I am a Ubuntu Member and I have a BQ 4.5 as unique phone by now. I want to contribute keeping alive Ubuntu touch modestly from my position of translator. -
Hi all,
the name is Peter Valachovič I am IT teacher from Slovakia, some years ago after finishing FIIT in Bratislava I've decided that I want to work on making world a better place, so I quit ERP systems maintaining and development and I teach on high school and help kids with studies in free time.My phone of everyday use is Ubuntu BQ 5 HD, I was thinking about translations to Slovak even earlier, although I haven´t started yet. I´ll gladly help with testing apps and if I´ll have time (which is not really often) I can help with some apps development too

Greetings to All
I own an Aquarius E5 HD, bought it for simple calling, reading and writing text with nano and coding with python.
Calling a friend without a intermission from some android-app.
To have a little more controll about that, what the apps are doing. ( Its a lot of "KISS -Keep it Simple and Stupid" that i like on the "UbuntuPhone")
I like your "we make it go" spirit and wish you the best for the future. (Dont lose hope, the interesting part is now starting
To me:
linux-newbie (More Debian former Ubuntu-user)best wishes

Hi all,
I am Sai, a 24 year developer from India who has previously contributed to gnome-music. Although I am a fan of music players, gnome shell as a desktop environment is not my favorite. When I heard the news of canonical scrapping I was taken aback and want to contribute to the development of yunit and ubports in any way I can.
I was wondering if someone can help me get my dev environment set up. I am currently using arch linux with gnome shell on a lenovo thinkpad.Best

Hi everyone,
I'm Stefano Verzegnassi, I'm 25 and I've been a community contributor and maintainer of some of the Ubuntu Touch projects.
My relevant contribution to the official projects are the Document Viewer (and its LibreOffice integration) and the Terminal app (I've been maintaining it in its latter days, before it moved under the Canonical "umbrella").
Other popular works I've been working on are UT Tweak Tool and InstantFX, which got a decent reception.Unlike the other stories above, I'm a Political Science student with a strong interest for technology and Open Source. I've been using Ubuntu since 2007 or so, and I started to follow the UT project for its ambitious vision.
While I'm not yet sure of the time I could dedicate to the project, I'd be more than happy to help keeping UT alive.

@sverzegnassi You are very welcome, Stefano. Even with little time budget you are an experienced App developer and we would invite you to move moving Apps to the OpenStore. Write me a PM for details

hi, Andrew here. I use Ubuntu desktop and Ubuntu phone via an MX4 and just found out about Ubports. I've found Touch a bit mediocre to date, with a few too many niggles, and had heard Canonical had stopped, but seeing Ubports has renewed my interest! I just had a quick look at a few of the forums and appreciate you have some foundations to lay, but hopefully in time there will be some good development. I will see if I can do some testing in due course, if that helps (though I'm no Linux/Ubuntu expert by any means)
** Good luck **
