Hi @Charly. Welcome to the UBports community.

-
Hello everyone! I've always been a tech enthusiast, and by chance I wanted to see if there were any Linux alternatives for experimenting on an old Android phone.
Thanks to everyone who keeps the project updated. After initial difficulties with the drivers and watching a video, I had no major problems with the installation.

@toniox Welcome.

- asus max pro m1 : currently, more or less 'bricked' : the fastboot mode seems broken, and indicate error. It boot on twrp welcome screen...

Hello, I'm new around here. Running UT on an X23 as a secondary device and like it a lot.
Thanks to the team for the great work! -
Welcome, @vishcompany.

Greetings! Relatively new to Ubuntu and curious to tinker with a couple of old Samsung phones on hand, primarily motivated by disgust with the state of contemporary corporate telephony.

Welcome, @tacofeast .

@tacofeast Yes, welcome!
It takes some considerable work to get Ubuntu Touch working on a given phone. There are no ports of Samsung phones at present, and porting is done by community members like yourself.
So to see UT running on those phones, you'd need to do the work, or find others interested in sharing that work. There's documentation on porting on the UBports website.Alternately, there'd a list of already supported devices, and perhaps you could find one available used to test out the OS.
