@mooncosmique Yes you should see it on the lock screen for alarms and calls what device and channel are you on. Also for notifications the envelope on the top bar should also be green which I think is what you mean. Pull down on that and you will get a list of notifications the green indicator light flashes for new notifications after this.
It might be worth rerunning the installer without wipe to see if that fixes things.

I have an LG Nexus 4 and am on the stable channel.

I will try to re-install. I am assuming that when you say run it without wipe that my data (notes, contacts, mail, texts) will remain intact?

@mooncosmique Yes. Just DON'T select wipe and everything will remain.

You should indeed not need to hit the power button to turn the screen on when receiving notifications or calls.

@dobey I have the same problem. When I receive a call, the screen is off and when I try to turn it on with the power bottom, it turns off so quickly that must of the time, I don't have time to accept the call. I have to play with the power button until I am faster than the screen.
I have a BQ E5 HD unbuntu edition, with the last OTA.

                    Hi @mooncosmique
I think that i posted similar notification issues in this thread below. In my case i'm not notified about new sms. It could be that there is general problem with notifications. BTW Dekko notifications work fine for me.

On my Nexus 5 the screen don't wake up:

                      • when alarm ring up
                      • when I'm receiving calls
                      • or when I'm receiving message.
Is there a way to configure screen to wake up in this cases ?

@saveurlinux You may be better off starting a new thread as this thread is very old and the issues involved have probably been fixed by now for their device. Also could you add what update channel you are on.
The screen should wake up automatically. You could try moving to another update channel from system settings and see if that fixes it or reinstall the channel you are on from the installer (please don't select the wipe option).
