You are probably aware of this function but you can turn on/off the flashlight from top menu -> Battery Flashlight.

Publish Q&A into PeerTube
I think Ubuntu Touch Q&A should be done into PeerTube instead of Youtube as it is a free and open source Video platforms.

@costales I'm not sure it is relative to Unav, I experiment the same problem with Pure Maps.

RE: Donation by bank transfer?
@NeoTheThird
Code Lutin want to send a donation to UBPorts as already some projects have also benefited and we would prefer not use PayPal or Bitcoin.
Have you got a bank account with an IBAN created ?

RE: Looking for offline map app
I've tried OsmScout, unfortunately no maps are available to download.
Maybe no more accessible from: http://schreuderelectronics.com/osm/

Calendar app reinstall failure
As I wanted to clear all datas from Calendar, I used Ut-tweak-tool to achive it, but data were still present when I reopen the application, so I decided to uninstall the application, clear all data and the reinstall it.
Unfortunately using the OpenStore application, the installation failed.
I've tried, reinstall ubuntuTouch but it did not solve the problem.
there are the logs https://dpaste.com/63RZGLVUCI also tried to install it manually, but without more success:

RE: Parking app problems in Waydroid. UT 20.04 (OTA-4)
@globetrotterdk Did you tried Aurora Store https://aurorastore.org/ available from FDroid ?
-
RE: Parking app problems in Waydroid. UT 20.04 (OTA-4)
@globetrotterdk about SMS, I don't know, you should receive an SMS on UBports, but not in Waidroid, did you have GSM activated ?
About GPS, I'm not sure, but I think it doesn't work on Wayland, you must manually set your position. -
RE: (Solved) New UT on Pixel 3a user.
@globetrotterdk maybe that's because you are doing it from adb and WAYLAND_DISPLAY is not available ? Try to do it from the phone terminal
When the command
waydroid session start
succeed , you can open a new tab into the terminal phone app and then do this next one:
waydroid show-full-ui
-
RE: (Solved) New UT on Pixel 3a user.
@globetrotterdk have you tried without sudo ?
-
RE: (Solved) New UT on Pixel 3a user.
@saveurlinux I think, you should try to launch it with sudo but as:
waydroid session start
and in an other tab launch
waydroid show-full-ui
other command line are available look at
waydroid help

RE: (Solved) New UT on Pixel 3a user.
@globetrotterdk I have same phone as you and waydroid install throw WayDroid Helper. It works fine on my phone, except banking apps.
Trying to launch throw the command linesudo waydroid session start
raise the same error as you,
but launching it throw the WayDroid Helper works
