Is "vocal sms" supposed to be working ?

I just noticed this nice microphone icon next to the text field in the SMS app. So I tried to record something and send it, to no avail. I press the button, speak, let go of the button, and then... Nothing. What am I missing ? Cheers.

On the other hand, the audio recordings exist and are here :
But, after testing, conversely, the 'open with' function in FILE MANAGER does not work with MESSAGING: it only works for images.

But from time to time, it's good to let the battery drain completely to optimize it! -

Good news ! There's a click package on the repo that makes it work ! All hail @lduboeuf ! Sadly MMS is still basically voodoo for me. There is absolutely no way of knowing if, when, why, to which extent i will work. It is somewhat baffling.
