The UBports installer does make installing Ubuntu Touch easy, doesn't it?

Sadly the same is not (yet) the case for re-installing Android. There are plans to expand the functionality of the UBports installer to also install other open source operating systems. But if you are looking to reinstall the stock Android your device came with, you will need to look for help in those forums.

Just wait for someone who can help you, or maybe ask on XDA, they give help for UBports AND androïd.

All you need can be found via one of Googles websites. Having not done it I don't have a link handy, but it should be easy to find with a websearch.
Edit: Sorry got you mixed up with a nexus 5 user 😞
            Try OnePlus site

@arubislander Not to go too off topic but it'd be amazing if the Ubuntu Touch installer did that, perhaps you could even brand it as an open source operating system installer for mobile?

@liscar if installing stock android gets too hard, maybe try installing some cutsom rom like LineageOS? those are generally easier to install

                            Hi!

Did you try to reflash the phone using twrp and the latest official .zip? Theoretically speaking it should be possible to copy the current upgrade https://www.oneplus.com/de/support/softwareupgrade/details?code=PM1574156097213 onto a sd card or the internal storage of the phone. Flash the phone with twrp recovery ( https://twrp.me/oneplus/oneplusone.html) , reboot to recovery and flash the zip from within the twrp recovery.
