Does this look right? Is this working? The reason I ask is because it has been sitting in this status for a long time.

      Forgive me for my ignorance.

@t3kg33k You need to unlock your bootloader, it's still locked.

fastboot oem unlock typed in a terminal should do it, but I'm rushing. look it up first for full details.

After installing android-tools on my Fedora machine I ran 'sudo fastboot oem unlock'. This is the output:

            (bootloader) Unlocking bootloader...
            FAILED ()
            Finished. Total time: 11.513s

However, even though the output failed when I boot into the bootloader is displays the the Lock State is unlocked.
I proceeded to UBports Installer and it is still in the status of Flashing firmware with no progression, it seems. It's been sitting in the status for a while.

Did you enabled USB dev/debbug mode on the phone?

Yeah, I tried searching on the forum but couldn't find anything. Of course, my search-fu could be off.
Trying to clear things up and factory reset now.

I think I am finally making some headway. I had downloaded the appimage. What I wasn't doing was launching it as sudo. Once I did that I am now seeing progress.

We thought about it too, but it appears that is Harrisson Ford in the picture (from Blade Runner).
So we can't really say that it's Dobey's... At least the color is different and the username is different too 🙂

Dude, I've had and used that avatar for several years. I didn't know he was using it. It just shows we both have the same great taste in movies. It's easily the best movie ever.
