sudo su
work and after exit -
Indeed, sudo -s worked but when trying installing e.g viber.deb via dpkg -i viber.deb, never succedded...
The same happened when e.g apt-get install vim.
So, is there any way to fully take advantage of root permissions, as in an ordinary ubuntu installations?

@Stam26
Ubuntu Touch is not an ordinary OS.
The root filesystem is read only because the OTA is based on an image.If you want to install more traditional softwares to your device, the proper way to do it is by setting a Libertine container and then install it within the container.

@AppLee this your message has to be somwhere on first landing pages. This is not quite good for marketing part of the project, but informative and fair enough for new users.
