      @nero355
You can enable dark mode with UTTT.
Morph is dark on my device.
But not all websites as it is up to each one to make its own dark mode, not to Morph.

For the tabs, it work quite well for me. Sliding from the botom sometime is hard to trigger, but most of time works like a charm.

@nero355 Telling us why you don't like it may be more helpful 😄 I understand that it's not perfect. Currently, what I don't like is that the tab bars aren't easily distinguishable so it's hard to look for a specific tab based on the title. And also making it a bit smoother and more performant would be good too.

For the same reason + The following =>

        Hard to trigger/Not reliable enough!

I think a nice temporary solution would be that you simply tap the little "Tab box" so to speak (which shows the number of Tabs when more than 1 is open) and you get to see all your Tabs 🙂

You mention UTTT : I assume you mean Ubuntu Touch Tweak Tool made by someone outside the Ubuntu Touch Team ?

Is it a reliable peace of software ?
I believe it can control a lot of stuff stuffed away very deep in the OS if I remember correctly ?!

Also : Why isn't it adopted as "The Official Tool" so to speak by the UBports Team ??

        My phones :

        • BQ Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Phone Edition - Ubuntu Touch 16.04 LTS
        • ZUK Z2 Pro - ZUI Android 8.x
        • Xiaomi Mi 9T - Jolla SailFish 3.4.x Community Build

        P.S. : I am NOT a developer! ;)

If it wasn't, it wouldn't be in open store.

It can do lot less things than you can do with terminal app, that has the same "power" on your sytem than UTTT (full unconfined/full access).

But the few things it allows you to do, are in a graphical way, not a command line one, so it's [mostly command line noob like me] user friendly.

          It is, in a way...

They allow it to be on the open store, and they review the code, beside, i'm sure they very well know the dev that maintain it (Imran Iqbal).

That's not ubports that handle this app, like they don't for lot unconfind apps (i.e. Dekko mail app), because they don't have time to do so.

One day maybe, one, or maybe all tweaks from this app will be integrated to the core OS setting app.

@nero355 I see. I understand that. Swipe gestures in general do need some optimizations for better detection and smoother feel. However, it can also be affected by the physical aspects of devices. For example with Meizu MX4, swiping from bottom may be a bit tricky because you have to avoid touching the home button. Edge swipes may also be a bit finicky because the side bezels are really thin. Which phone do you have?

But thanks to UTTT we can extend edges 😆
Wich i didn't have to do to be honest, i perfected my swipe as my MX4 is lol.

@keneda Yeah there's that too. You have to get used to it. I'm currently battling with Pixel 3a because it seems to require a different way of swiping than what I'm used to 😄

I would like the ability to pin top sites on the tab page or the ability to set new tab page to a local html file saved on the device

@nero355 qtwebengine supports dark mode - although it is not easy right not to use as you need to use flags

@kugiigi caching the flavicons would go a long way on that 🙂

                          @mateo_salta Which you mean?
In any case, favicons are already cached though there seems to be a bug. I have a fix for it but I can't remember if I already proposed it in a PR. I haven't done developments in a while 😅

The BQ E5 HD Ubuntu Phone that was sold back in the Canonical days 🙂

Fun Fact : Ubuntu Touch runs better on it than Android ever did!
Including an WiFi bug that's gone under UT :grinning_squinting_face:

Really nice to see that morph browser can open pdfs and fill out forms.
A save button to and an option to use morph as the default pdf program would be nice.
At the moment it is only possible to open them from within the download section of the browser. I am on an old build (16.xx)

Evaluation of criteria to get Morph less prone to fingerprinting. This has been discussed earlier this year (https://forums.ubports.com/post/44876) and people would feel more comfortable using Morph browser knowing the utmost has been done to minimize the risk.
