FP2 stable last OTA. It worked like a charm before, and it still works when online. But everytime i try to use the offline tiles i get this: "loading style failed: localhost host can't be found". Obviously OSM scout runs in the bg and is set to not be interrupted. I reinstalled both pure maps and osm and the issue persists. Shoutout to all weak batteries out there (FP2 and Nexus5) that NEED this feature. I saw a discussion with @rinigus earlier on this forum where this topic was breached but I don't know if any progress has been made.

        Hi!

I have a problem with gpx-support too, since the last version update; I'm on bq m10 hd (dev), on my fairphone2 (rc) it still works with version 2.3.0. Did the update break something?

Little update here: it works with the fullversion ofpure maps. The behaviour i described happens only with the slim version. Now what it does issimilar to what rinigus described in an earlier post: it displays the sameerror, butactually works.

Actually there might be a deeper issue: the version of pure maps slim that was defective was flagged by the openstore as "not coming from the official store". I reckon the reason for this is that these last days, the updates I made were available in both the openstore and the system updates tab - that is, for one given app, I updated it twice, because i.e. updating from the store did not erase the entry in system updates. It seems like a problem in itself, but since pure maps was one of these apps, I wonder if it didn't get corrupt somehow in the process...

It's me again. Actually it still doesn't work. What led me into believing it was fixed is that pure maps actually displayed my offline maps, and i can see the tiles loading in the osm server. But i can't search for a place (nothing comes up) and therefore can't use navigation. Still stuck there.

Search is still working for me on a Nexus 5. That does not help you, but it does suggest the problem is your phone rather than the application.

Can confirm @Emphrath in part. I updated OSM Scout Server Slim and PureMaps yesterday on FP2. I do get a GPS fix and off-line maps are working fine but search is not working properly (at least not with stored destinations). Not sure this is an FP2 specific issue (unlikely) or is online-data required for search to work properly ?

@nogoogle I started to use Pure maps for the very first time on an car itinerary a few days ago on my spouse's Vollaphone. Maps profile: Both (online + offline). It worked well, but if I left the suggested route, Pure maps did not recalculate the itinerary. ("no itinerary found"). Workaround: Stop vehicle and restart the calculation of the route to the destination, or join the initial planned route. However I'm not sure if that issue is really related to this topic...

@emphrath I changed the profile to "online maps" only, and rerouting now works fine. 😉
