messaging-app: Stickers feature
-
hi,
I've been working in re-enabling the Sticker feature in messaging-app (MMS).
Here are some screenshots:To access it, i've decided to put the "Sticker" icon as part as the attachment panel. Before it was inserted just after the "attachment" icon, but find it a bit annoying to access it.
To create a new pack, the "+" button is on the right of the tabs
To import and delete the pack, the buttons are at the bottom-right
To delete only one sticker, long-press on itAny feedbacks ?

@lduboeuf Very nice. Seems to be easy and intuitive to use.

@lduboeuf Looks good to me ^__^

User will have to download them before with whatever means in the file system. Messaging-app will be able to import them through content-hub then.

I've not PR anything yet because
ubports-qa
is not safe to use since Qt5.12 moves and CI changes. Waiting for stability -
@lduboeuf I mean more like, how does that work? because most sticker packs I've previously used, when you tap to download them, they try and open the app that they're made for, such as telegram, kik, or whatsapp, and don't tend to download as a generic pack that you could install/add to any of the services you use.

Oh yes, that is not the case here, only regular content-hub import here. Until someone decided to create a Sticker pack app for UT...

So with the Sticker feature, you're able to send a picture or animated image in 3 user's action instead of minimum 6 with the content-hub.
It can be reduced to 2 at minimum if i reuse the existing shortcut as it was previsously designed, see:But as i said, the "emoticon" is harder to reach on small device, but makes the experience much faster, like other chat like apps.
I will try again that one
