Has anybody tried a text-to-speech (TTS) system on a UT device?

That's a way to make the phone read SMS for you.
It can be very helpful for blind people for example. -
@applee Ah ok, so i believe there is no "TTS" at all on uTouch, right?
At least i didn't see any option like that. -

Not one that I know of.
But there are free open source software that can be ported, so there is hope. -
Reversely there is Speech Recognition to Text..

Puremaps seems to use some TTS system for navigation announcements on UT.

I built the TTS larynx from the rhasspy project on my Cosmo Communicator. Speech output for US English and German is good and fast enough for me.
