I changed from stable to a test channel recently, (see https://forums.ubports.com/topic/6191/call-for-testing-background-location-updates/16) after which I have been unable to change back to stable. In System Settings>Updates>Channels I selected Stable. The phone then confirmed it was changing channels, but actually remained on RC version 101 and later updated to version 102 a few days ago. I have tried this three times, restarting each time, but it remains on RC. How can I force it back to Stable? Nexus 5.

When you switch to stable channel, do you get a 300-400+MB update and install that?

@cliffcoggin As you still don't want to use the installer you could try going to dev then stable. Is this on your OP3/3t?

@cliffcoggin You should see one in the updates page. Otherwise, you didn't really switched channel 😅 After switching, go back to the updates page or maybe About > Check for updates. Make sure you install all app updates. Sometimes, they prevent system updates from displaying.

I am now back on Stable. I went through the same process as before and then waited with the Updates page open. After 2 or 3 minutes the indicated channel changed to Stable 15. At no time was there any indication that anything was downloading or installing as would normally happen during an update; it simply changed. I guess something about the experimental channel inhibited display of changes. Thank you both.
