OnePlus One - I can't delete files or remove apps. The popup asks me to confirm and the two buttons appear (red for delete or remove) and grey for cancel but only cancel works. Is there a setting on the phone I need to select to allow this?

Where are you doing this? OpenStore?
There are rare times installation/uninstalation stops working which can be fixed by rebooting.

Trying to delete a file in my Music Folder and also trying to delete Linphone app. I tried rebooting but didn't help.

I reinstalled Ubuntu Touch and the problems persist. I no longer have Linphone of course since the fresh install.

When I select the delete button in Gallery or picture folder in Files, a popup appears to confirm deletion. However, the red "ok" button never functions. The grey "cancel" button works but not "ok".

I also can't delete apps or a chat in the Teleports app.

Is this a problem of the Ubuntu Touch operating system or a setting that I haven't enabled on the OnePlus One to allow deletion?

@ontario I can't think why but can you (if not already) switch on Dev mode in System Settings, About and if your on stable try the Devel channel.

This is definetly not a problem of uTouch or OPO, you're the first i read dealing with this issue.
Maybe something you did on your phone before broke this.

You should tell us more of your phone background, when did you install uT on it, did it work well before, what did you do on it just before it doesn't work anymore?

2015-Now : Meizu MX4 (Stable) for daily use

@ontario Just started and updated my OPO on Devel and delete option is working fine on photos.

I installed UT for the first time mid-July and then reinstalled for the second time a few days ago, in the hopes that any fooling around I did would resolve itself.

I had attempted to install Linphone in the terminal without success, and perhaps entered commands that affected the phone.

I can see that I can easily delete photos in the Camera Roll (with 1 click on the red button), but takes many clicks of the red button from the Gallery app.

I switched on the Dev mode as suggested above but still can't delete apps of delete a conversation in Teleports.

I'm basically brand new to Ubuntu Touch so I can't say for sure that the phone was working better before I perhaps entered a command that "broke" the phone.

Doesn't reinstalling UT reset any changes I made?
