I have the latest version of UBPorts on my OnePlus One phone. Today I came to use the camera and the zoom did not work. Is this a known issue or is there spmething that bi need to do to activate this feature?

Did the camera zoom UI was displayed when you tried to zoom?

Yes the zoom bar was displayed and moved up and down, but the zoom number never left 1.

The situation remained the same or something changed? Not only the zoom doesn't work but also the flash. Is it true?

@advocatux yep oneof them issues I raised, just surprised that I did not put the reference number in here. Hopefully this will come along soon as there seems to have been a stop on all development currently. Or it appears that way with no releases.

@ukphil All effort is being directed at 16.04 and fixing bugs before the stable release of that. If its not your daily driver why not try the RC version of 16.04 and see how its going. The dev version is pretty good also.

@ukphil yep, as @Lakotaubp says, all development is on xenial now and there are (almost) daily updates on 16.04 devel channel, and weekly updates on RC channel.
You can take a look to https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/milestones and check the bugs that are still open and the ones that have been closed.

@advocatux you say daily and weekly updates? I have not had anything for a few months now. Does that mean that i have an issue with my updates as I have both the rc and dev versions on my machines.

@ukphil do you have devel and/or RC on 15.04 or 16.04? You need the latter

I currently have the 15.04 but did not know that there was a new build.
I am trying to update it but having issues.

Thanks, think i need to as i think i have fallen off the train way down the track. Will install the new version via the installer on my laptop.

@ukphil Any issues come straight backor try https://t.me/WelcomePlus thats thetelegram install group. One thing don't connect your phone until the installer us running. Good luck with 16.04
