      Re: How to use the RuntimeApi in HTML5 Apps?

      I'm having a similar issue,
      How would I go about accessing the APIs to ready information such as the battery status?

      I've dissected the cordova support and it appears to use navigator messages to speak to qt, I assume this is kind of specific to cordova?

      Whats the recommended approach?

          Nope, sorry.

          Have you tried on Telegram in the app development group?
          It might be quicker to have an answer there...

            @majesticfudgie Hello,
            Cordova's code is quite obsolete now
            I have never been able to test the html5 API but you may need apparmor permisions (?) to access the app cache folders.

            You could use a webview/webengine in a qml and get better access (old code but it could be useful): https://gitlab.com/cibersheep/quixe-qml/
