I need to rest to factory my UT M10 FHD.
I can enter the System Recovery but the option "wipe data / factory reset" is missing from menu. the only options available are:

        • Reboot System now
        • wipe cache partition
        • reboot to bootloader
        • power down
        • view recovery logs

Is there any way to start factory reset?
        Thanks,
        sotema

Can you boot into UT? If you can, then reset it from there. Otherwise, boot to the bootloader and reinstall UT using the Installer.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.... And more...
          I have too many devices...

Use MTK Flash Tool (a.k.a. "sp flash tools") to reinstall Ubuntu Touch Canonical version, and then, you'll be able to activate dev mod and reinstall last ubports Ubuntu Touch with ubp installer.

              https://docs.ubports.com/en/latest/userguide/install.html#install-on-legacy-android-devices

Don't beware of the android parts, just dl files needed (flashtool an UT frieza img), and follow the steps, READ CAREFULLY, TWICE OR MORE, as if you choose the wrong SP Flashtool command, you will hardbrick your device.

Take note that you'll loose all your previous UT data.

                support_dl_cert_to_storage: 0
                Connecting to BROM...
                Scanning USB port...
Search usb, timeout set as 3600000 ms

                  It is an usb issue.
Use only USB.2 ports, try changing usb cable.

usb 2-2 ports, 3 different cables same result.
Tomorrow i'll try a new one.
