Hello @hexis.
You have not confirmed whether you have the PPP or the PP. Which one do you have?
-
I'm still assuming you have the Original generation Pinephone.
The Pinephone is not like the Android phones and does NOT use the installer. Check the info here: https://gitlab.com/ubports/community-ports/pinephone

@mark1250 okay i have the original pinephone i am saying that i got jumpdrive and when i boot my pinephone it says connect a usb to my pc so i did that and since i want ubuntu touch i installed the ubports installer on my pc but every time i bot my phone and connect it to my pc i open the ubports installer and it doesn't see my phone so i cant install ubuntu touch
-
@hexis In the post above yours mark1250 told you the installer will not work. He also linked to the method you need to use to get Ubuntu Touch on the Pinephone.

That is where Jumpdrive comes in.
- Burn the jump drive image to an SD card.
- Put it in your Pinephone and boot the phone.
- Connect the Pinephone to your computer via USB.
- Your computer should now show 2 external drives. - One is the SD card, and the other is the internal eMMC.
- Burn the Ubuntu Touch image onto the internal eMMC using Etcher or dd.
- Disconnect the PinePhone from your computer.
- Power off the Pinephone.
- Remove the SD card that has Jumpdrive on it.
- Power on your Pinephone
- Enjoy Ubuntu Touch.
