@jukebox3711 well, if the main designated function for your tablet is to drive Home Assistant, I suspect you would be better off running Android on your tablet..
Yes but I don't want Android I prefer Apple if we go that way

@jukebox3711 then there's your answer

I just want to buy a tablet with UT (Lenovo M10) to use Home Assistant like a hub to control my home.
I don't know if you heard about Nymea but this is another open source connected home control solution, that has a very polished Ubuntu Touch native app.

Hi,
Yeah but all my home is build with Home Assistant. I don't want to restart.

@jukebox3711
Ah ok, i understand that
Maybe you could rise this topic on home assistant forum : they lack an Ubuntu Touch native app -
Aren't all of the tablet Home Assistant dashboards just an Android tablet in kiosk mode with just the browser running?
I don't know if Ubuntu Touch has a kiosk mode, nor if you could lock it down to just the browser.

I will have when UT will be compatible with the Fairphone 4.
Seems this is the case now. See here.
-
@mark1250 If the Home Assistent app is only just a web app, then the UT app should work as well as any other, since it is also a wrapper around the website.
